Floyd has two Grammy Awards and a pair of Gold Records for his performances on George Strait albums. Floyd has also played and recorded with Willie Nelson, George Strait, Asleep at the Wheel, Merle Haggard, and many more. -
Friday Nights, 7:00-11:00, Art Kidd Trio, Jazz Piano/Vocal Trio
The Art Kidd trio Friday nights features Pianist Nick Connolly who has played and recorded with many greats, including Delbert McClinton, Jimmy Vaughn and Stephen Burton. Drummer Art Kidd has played with Mose Allison, the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Chubby Checker, the Four Freshmen and many more. Bassist Terry Hale plays with George Strait, and has for over 30 years as a founding member of the Ace in the Hole band, and serves as president of the Austin Federation of Musicians. -
Saturday Nights, 7:00-11:00, Morris Nelms Trio, Jazz - Vocal - Trio
Morris Nelms, a gifted pianist and jazz vocalist, leads his trio each Saturday in a blend of Jazz Genres. Morris has a prolific career with many greats; Louis Bellson, Ed Shaughnessy, Clark Terry, Plas Johnson, Red Holloway, Butch Miles, Kenny Washington, Al Grey, Sonny Stitt, to name a few.
