Only announced via social media, Perry’s “Flashback Friday” offers special price on cult classic

In celebration of the recent opening of Perry’s in San Antonio and its popular $11.95 PorkChop Friday lunch special, Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille in La Cantera is offering up an even better deal to its patrons and online fans. Perry’s will select at random one Friday to offer a 79-cent Pork Chop Friday lunch to the first 100 people that order it, in honor of the year Perry’s first opened as a butcher shop in 1979. All others who order a Pork Chop Friday lunch that day will receive a gift card redeemable for a lunch chop at a later date.

This “Flashback Friday” will only be announced via Perry’s social media channels – so pork chop fans will need to follow Perry’s on Twitter at @PerrysDining or the Perry’s San Antonio Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/PerrysSanAntonio to find out when the first ever “Flashback Friday” will take place.

“Our Pork Chop Friday lunch special has really become a cult classic,” said Chris Perry, owner of Perry’s Restaurants. “We want to celebrate the loyalty of our fans and maybe win over a couple of new ones. You haven’t truly had a pork chop until you’ve tried our famous chop.”

Regularly $17.95 at lunch, Perry’s Famous Pork Chop is dried, cured and roasted, then caramelized and topped with Perry’s signature herb-garlic butter sauce and served with whipped potatoes and homemade applesauce. Every Friday at lunch, Perry’s serves 2,500 lunch chops company-wide across its nine locations in Texas.

This special offer is for dine-in only (no to-go orders) and available on a first come, first serve basis. Those with reservations will not be eligible for the 79-cent chop.
