HOUSTON (February 14, 2008) – Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille Clear Lake, 487 Bay Area Boulevard, was the setting for the 2nd Annual Wine and Wishes Dinner with the Bay Area Chi Omega Alumnae Chapter, which benefited Make-A-Wish Foundation, on January 24, 2008. The gala evening featured Las Vegas singer Mary Oliver, formerly with the Platters, a raffle, live auction and a five course wine dinner, which raised $41,180.00. “The Make-A-Wish Foundation helps make dreams come true for area children coping with life-threatening medical conditions,” stated event co-chair Holly Perry. “The three area children who are the direct benefactors of the gala are Caleb, who will get to visit Disney World, Klarissa who will get meet the Cheetah Girls, and Jordan will be able to meet hero, Hannah Montana.”
